Brenda Fassie movie to hit cinemas in 2018

A movie on the life of the late South African music legend Brenda Fassie is expected to hit cinemas later this year.The film chronicles her journey towards becoming one of the country's most iconic entertainers.
The pop diva, affectionately
known as MaBrrr, died in 2004.
She shot to fame with hits like Weekend Special and Too Late For Mama in the 90’s.
The movie will be filmed in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Production begins next month.
