O.C Ukeje becomes journalist!

Multiple award winning actor, O.C Ukeje, is no doubt one of the most sought-after actor in the Nigerian movie industry. The actor stepped up his game when he turned into an investigative journalist in Uru Eke’s first feature film, “Remember me”, which is yet to hit the cinemas. The flick, centres on accountability, transparency and corruption. The film tells the story of a community where the rights of the poor and vulnerable are trampled upon, where natural resources are stolen and witnesses are silenced. It takes a very brave man to stand up to what is just and true. Micheal (O.C Ukeje), is the man and as he wades through incriminating evidence of the nation’s biggest organisation, he finds an unwitting helper in Harida (Uru Eke). Together, they try to overcome insurmountable odds with the arsenal of information at their disposal. The movie, Remember me” is a captivating action packed story about a young girl’s struggle as well as her fight to reveal the truth about one of the most corrupt organisations in the country. Speaking about the movie, the producer, Uru Eke said she wanted to do something different in her first movie that’s why she decided to talk about social change. “The movie production was
a massive leap because I have always wanted to produce my own movie. I feel it is my own way of telling my story of social change,”. The movie which was directed by Izu Ojukwu and produced by Uru Eke, featured stars like Victor Olaotan, Femi Jacobs, Anthony Monjaro, Enyinna Nwigwe, Chigul among others
