According to a new report, Hollywood star and his wife are both struggling with skin cancer. Vinnie Jones, 48 year old former football player, promised that he will fight against his disease with everything he had.
Jones had played against Wimbledon, Chelsea and Leeds United in his successful career as a footballer. He said that he once noticed a lump beneath his right eye, which shocked him of serious skin disease. Jones said that he immediately consulted a doctor, which told him of the growth of melanoma.
Melanoma is serious skin disease and about 2,000 people in UK are killed with this disease every year. Jones shares his experience and said that he immediately asked the doctor that for how much time he was suffering with this disease.
"Cancer is horrible word to hear. I've faced biggest and ugliest lads on football field and been in some nasty brawls. But this is my toughest and scariest opponent yet", said Jones. Jones had undergone an operation to remove his lump, but he said that later on two more lumps were again discovered by him.
He had been through his third operation two months after he found his lumps on the back pof his head. Not only Jones, but his wife Tanya, a 47 year old lady, had also been through number of operations in her fight against cancer.
