Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber Receive 2016 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award Nominations

Never mind the groundhog. The nominations are in for the 2016 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards are in, so we know spring is on the way. Voting opens today in 22 categories across music, film and television, and Billboard got the exclusive scoop on two of them. For Favorite Song of the year, the nominees are "Bad Blood" (featuring Kendrick Lamar), by Taylor Swift; "Can’t Feel My Face," The Weeknd; "Hello," Adele; "Hotline Bling," Drake; "Thinking Out Loud," Ed Sheeran; and "What Do You Mean?," Justin Bieber. Alessia Cara, DNCE, OMI, Shawn Mendes, Silento and Walk the Moon are vying for the orange blimp in the Favorite New Artist category. Forum in L.A. on March 12 and will air live at 8pm on Nickelodeon. In other key music categories, Fall Out Boy, Fifth Harmony, Imagine Dragons, Maroon 5, One Direction and Pentatonix go head to head for Favorite Music Group. Favorite Male Singer noms include Shelton, Drake, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Nick Jonas and The Weeknd, while the Favorite Female Singer trophy will go to one of the following: Adele, Ariana Grande, Meghan Trainor, Nicki Minaj, Selena Gomez or Taylor Swift. In the new category of Favorite Collaboration, nominations went to "Bad Blood," Taylor Swift featuring Kendrick Lamar; "Downtown,"  Macklemore & Ryan Lewis featuring Eric Nally, Melle Mel, Kool Moe Dee and Grandmaster Caz; "Good For You," Selena Gomez featuring A$AP Rocky; "Like I’m Gonna Lose You," Meghan Trainor featuring John Legend; "See You Again," Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth; and "Where Are Ü Now,"  Skrillex, Justin Bieber & Diplo. The Kids’ Choice Awards are produced by Nickelodeon Productions. Sponsors include Amazon Fire Tablet, Fruit by the Foot, Yoplait GoGurt, Lucky Charms, Hot Wheels, McDonald’s USA, Skechers, and Toyota.
