The Hair-ocracy! Is Justin Bieber Bald?

 

As usual, Justin Bieber is creating quite a buzz! After a whirlwind stint in South America, the 19-year-old singer stepped out in West Hollywood, Calif., on Saturday, and in several photos appeared that he shaved his head.

Alas, Beliebers can rejoice: The "Believe" crooner did not shave his head completely.

It looks like he just touched up the undercut style he's had since April 2013, but perhaps his barber took off a little too much. The short buzz cut near the back of his head also appears to be a lighter shade than his normal dirty blond locks, leading to the bald controversy. He covered up the rest of his head with a Pittsburgh Pirates hat, making it difficult to tell whether the close crop is all over.

Bieber has definitely gone through many hair transformations through the years, from his signature bang-swoop, to a more tousled look, to a pompadour-style, which is why we weren't surprised to see that he may have experimented with his coif.

But if he did decide to shave his head, it wouldn't have been the first time. In February 2011, he pulled one over on his fans by wearing a bald cap on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," which practically caused a riot among his female contingents.

Perhaps his latest hair moment is just to drum up more press for his upcoming behind-the-scenes movie, "Believe," which opens Christmas Day.
