Reports claim Brandy is developing her own show that could possibly be a "Moesha" spin-off.
Brandy has the acting bug again and with her recurring role as Chardonnay on BET’s The Game, she may as well strike while the iron is hot. If reports are true, Brandy may have her own show coming soon.
According to Soul Train Award winning blogger Necole Bitchie, the singer, 34, has partnered with Tyler Perry to develop her own show which may or may not be a Moesha spin-off. Recent photos of Brandy with actors William Allen Young and Sheryl Lee Ralph who played her parents on the show have fueled the rumors, but it could all be a coincidence since Young also had a role on The Game.
Unconfirmed sources say, “Brandy has been talking about doing her own TV show for a while now, and everything is finally falling into place for her! She recently teamed up with Tyler Perry and is working on her own TV show slightly based off of her old show “Moesha”. We’re not sure if it will be a continuation or a completely different show, but we do know that William Allen Young and Sheryl Lee Ralph (Frank and Dee from Moesha) will be portraying her parents again in this new show.”
Moesha was a classic '90s sitcom. If the show returns as a spin-off, we hope it will be done justice.
